The objective of creative content grants is to generate creative, artistic and critical content that promotes discourses and narratives that are secular, diverse, inclusive and rights-respecting on issues related to religion.

Available grants

1. Developing digital stories of attacks, responses and resistance on the impact of hate speech on individuals or counter-movements to resist hate speech.

A total of 10 grants are available for survivors, individuals and CSOs in the countries of focus (Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Mynamar and Pakistan) to capture experiences of oppression and resistance by survivors of attacks and hate speech in the name of religion through digital stories.

Amount available: USD 1,100 for each grant.

 

2. Generating artistic and satirical pieces that promote discourses and narratives that are secular, diverse, inclusive and rights-respecting on issues related to religion.

A total of 20 grants are available for artists, content developers, activists,and human rights defenders (HRDs) to create satirical and critical artistic content in the countries of focus (Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Myanmar and Pakistan) that promote discourses and narratives that are secular, diverse, inclusive and rights-respecting on issues relating to religion. The artistic content developed will be used in campaigns for accountable, tolerant and secular societies.

Amount available: USD 1,100 for each grant.

 

3. Other creative content

The applicant may propose any other creative content that they are interested in developing as long as it relates to the thematic area of focus and countries of focus in the project.
