Josephine Miliza
Josephine Miliza is a leading advocate for digital equity from Nairobi, Kenya. With over a decade of experience as a telecommunications engineer, she is a pioneer in the field of community networks in Africa. Her expertise spans strategic planning, operational management, research, donor relations, fundraising, and technical support for policy makers and regulators. Josephine co-founded TunapandaNET (now Tanda Community Network), Kenya's first community network, and has been instrumental in building the community networks movement in Africa. She actively contributes to research, capacity building, and advocacy for policies and regulations that promote inclusive and people-centred digital ecosystems.
