Peter Edopu

Peter Edopu is a lawyer with experience in research, project management, law reform, legislative drafting, governance, rule of law, gender, peace and security, local government, capacity building, community empowerment, preventing and countering violent extremism  (PCVE) and terrorism in East Africa. He is a director at the Tango Consult and Peace and Security Institute of Africa, and a private advocate. Peter has provided technical support, consulting, research and training services to a range of organisations.

Peter has conducted training for diplomats, peacekeepers, judges, legislators, police, military, public servants and civil society organisations. He has also conducted studies on peace, security, community empowerment, youth, gender and PCVE in the East African Community (EAC) and Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) regions.
