Harira Abdulrahman Wakili

Harira has a degree in International Relations and a diploma in Civil Law. As a staunch advocate for gender and digital rights, she is playing a pivotal role in advancing gender digital inclusion initiatives. Currently, she works for the Centre for Information Technology and Development (CITAD), an organisation in Nigeria that works with local communities to overcome digital marginalisation and supports women's participation in technology spaces through research, capacity building, training, advocacy, supporting policies and sensitisation of the public and media outlets. She also collaborates with the Local Networks initiative as part of the team focusing on capacity building, training and providing support for community network projects.
