James Nguo, regional director of the Arid Lands Information Network has been working on rural community knowledge centres in Kenya for over four years. This work has been recognised by the Ashoka Global Academy, an organisation that promotes social entrepreneurship through small grants and fellowships.
APC would like to congratulate former APC board member James on becoming an Ashoka Fellow, and for his work in “leveraging a well-managed and sustainable network of information centres to improve the quality of life of rural small scale farmers in Africa.”
