To help the field address key knowledge gaps that hamper the delivery of effective response and prevention programmes to end tech-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV), the SVRI, Association for Progressive Communications (APC), UN Women and Global Partnership to End Online Abuse and Harassment have been working in partnership to co-facilitate a research priority-setting exercise.

In this webinar, we will discuss the findings of the TFGBV Shared Research Agenda and how different stakeholders can disseminate and utilise it to address TFGBV effectively. We will discuss with a diverse panel of experts why this agenda matters for the field. Our fantastic panel will feature:

  • Kalliopi Mingeirou, Chief of Ending Violence against Women Section at UN Women
  • Benedetta Musillo, Senior Social Development Adviser, Deputy Team Leader and Gender portfolio lead in the Research and Evidence Division at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO)
  • Nyx McLean, Chair of Research and Ethics at Eduvos; Research Associate at Rhodes University
  • Hera Hussain, Founder and CEO of CHAYN, a global nonprofit that creates resources on the web to address gender-based violence
  • Cindy Southworth, Head of Women’s Safety at Meta.
