The NMT Media Foundation (formerly Namibia Media Trust), in collaboration with the Association for Progressive Communications (APC) and the African Declaration on Internet Rights and Freedoms (AfDec) Secretariat, invites you to join for a webinar on "The Evolution of Digital Rights in Africa: Reflecting on the last 10 years and visualizing the next 10 years"

This 90-minute webinar will offer reflections on the progress made over the past decade in digital rights across Africa, while engaging in forward-looking discussions on the future of the African Declaration on Internet Rights and Freedoms.

The webinar organisers are pleased to announce two distinguished speakers for this session:

  • Edetaen Ojo, a prominent Nigerian advocate for media freedom and digital rights, who will present his latest research on emerging digital rights issues in Africa.
  • Koliwe Majama, a renowned Zimbabwean digital rights activist, who will discuss the impact of the African Declaration on Internet Rights and Freedoms and efforts to build a sustainable digital rights movement across the continent.
