It includes developing the skills and know-how to participate safely online and creating the conditions necessary for communities to access and use the internet in a sustainable way. Digital inclusion also involves the participation of communities in relevant policy-making processes, such as those on access, and properly considering alternative solutions to connectivity that prioritise local and community-led responses in these processes.
