In the framework of preparations for the finalization of the Global Digital Compact (GDC), which is set to be adopted at the Summit of the Future on 23 and 24 September 2024, and on behalf of the Association for Progressive Communications (APC), IT for Change, Equality Now, Alliance for Universal Digital Rights (AUDRi), Women at the Table/ <A+> Alliance for Inclusive Algorithms, Pollicy, Derechos Digitales, Women’s Rights Online, World Web Foundation, UN Women and UNFPA, are pleased to invite you to a GDC Civil Society Strategic Discussion Space, which is being planned as a moment for civil society organisations to critically discuss the final text and engage in a strategic discussion around the implementation and follow-up of the GDC.

This event is an opportunity for the CSOs and colleagues working on digital rights and those working on critical issues impacted by digital rights to come together and share strategies to approach implementation and monitoring of the GDC. This is an opportunity to align agendas on cross-cutting progressive issues and coordinate efforts across regions and themes.

This event will be held in English. Please register to attend in person.

Also, please note that participation slots are limited and attendance will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis, based on this registration.
