Stéphane Couture

Stéphane Couture is an assistant professor in the programme in Communications at Glendon College, York University (Toronto).

His teaching and research interests are concerned by the social and political dimensions of digital media and the internet. He conducts research on free and open source software, alternative media, and internet governance. He has also been engaged in several activist projects, in particular the World Forum on Free Media, as well as Montreal local organization Koumbit.
